«Autour de nous» is a youth association which actively engages in the field of public sanitation in the city of Rabat-Salé. It also supports families through helping them to adopt the right gestures with regard to waste management, and water and energy consumption.

- Contributing to heightened awareness of youth about environmental issues and promoting their commitment to community sustainable development
- Explaining the validity of the Charter of the National Environment and Sustainable Development
- Training teachers and developing curricula on the environment
- Promoting the implementation of projects related to environmental protection and youth development
- ACTIVITIES
- Training seminars, conferences and debates
- Field actions: campaigns for clean neighbourhoods, campaigns for reforestation and management of green spaces
- Radio program: the vision of youth on environment and development issues.
- Exhibition, video projection, production of information leaflets
We target poor families from popular neighborhoods because they are:
- More affected by lack of energy
- Not covered by awareness campaigns led by environmental actors
- Suffering nuisances (Outdated buildings, noise, waste dumped in the nature …)
We consider that environmental education is the right solution to improve local environmental conditions.
